In addition to my Law degree I have a Master’s of Social Work. With this background, I have a lot of insight into the bio-psycho-social factors that are very much at play when families separate.
With every client, my goal surpasses simply resolving their legal issue. My goal is that every client is able to step into the next chapter of their lives a little more healed & empowered than they were before.
There is value in having intellect, the ability to see both “sides” & provide sound, rational judgement. Yet, it takes more than knowing the Law & applying it to be a good family lawyer. It takes emotional intelligence. It takes being able to see yourself in your client, your child in theirs, & guide them towards a destination you would want to lead.
I have always practiced Law with my heart. At LawVolution we share the view that the destination is important, but so is the path we walk to get there.
